When I buy RAM for my Macs, I buy Crucial, cheap, reliable and high-quality. Apple uses mostly cheap Korean brand 'Hynix' memory modules in their Macs and they are quite unreliable. Can't speak for OWC though...

Well I don't turn it or my computer off either ;)
My iMac hasn't been off since I bought it in Sept 2010 and the keyboard is still on its original batteries - with 45% remaining.

one airport express is enough. just plug it in the wall and plug in the speaker's jack. than set the airport to create a wireless network. the light will flash amber because the AE knows that you haven't plugged in an Ethernet cable so it can't connect to the Internet, but you can just ignore it.
join the just created network with your MBP and/or your iPhone and use AirPlay to stream music to the speakers. you could even use your iOs device to control iTunes on your Mac via Apple's remote app.

i would put down like 100-150. becouse of the hastle / possibility of having to pay for it to be fixed.
Unless the magic cracked iphone screen fairy is going to come around and fix this one night while you sleep, I'm guessing the possibility of having to pay to get the screen repaired is quite high.

If by "too many times" you mean less than, say, 100, you shouldn't have any problems.
When purchasing a used computer, your best best is to do an erase and install of the OS, during which time you can select the installation options (such as languages, etc.) that you need. Most likely this will result in less disk space being used vs. more, depending upon how the system was originally installed.
Deleting system files manually is probably something you shouldn't be doing if you're not familiar with how everything works together.
Edit: I assume this is related to this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=169507) thread?

Just found out that GeoHot, aka George Hotz, a jailbreaker is asking for donations. He is being sued by Sony for his PS3 jailbreaking efforts.
You can read everything here, and a paypal link if you wish to donate to his cause.

My last thread was closed, I wasn't finished with my questions :(.
Everyone says there have not been any viruses written for OS X.
My friend has said,"Yes they do get viruses idiot!"
And gave me these links and said "theres your proof"
http://www.neowin.net/news/hacked-intosh
These two novel forms of malware come in the form of an: OSX/Tored-A - an updated version of the Mac OS Tored worm - and a Trojan called OSX/Jahlav-C.
Malware, short for malicious software, (sometimes referred to as pestware[1]) is a software designed to secretly access a computer system without the owner's informed consent. The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or program code.[2]

Maybe the GPU just needs to be reflowed?
That wasn't an issue on that series of powerbooks. Also, I wouldn't recommend attempting a reflow.. a new logic board is much easier, especially since I dont think it is a reflow issue - since the gfx is working but corrupted.

Who gives a rats ass?
Its apparently a great game. Its getting rave reviews. So its a big deal for mac to get an a-list game.
To answer your question, anyone that is a star wars fan or anyone that likes high quality games. Which, last I heard, means a lot of people.
The bigger question is when is it coming out for Mac? Though I'm all for more games on mac, I have to say that I'll probably be finished playing the ps2 version by the time the mac version is released...

I sell original adapters over 2 years, hope these suggestions can help you find the right adapters.
First, some words I use.
①Original:
Someone call it genuine. Apple dont produce adapter by itself, so they find OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer). Till now I know 3 companies make adapters for Apple, they are Delta/Liteon/Samsung. Some customers like Delta, they think that its quality is the best.
②Replacement:
These adapters also called high-copy, they are made by other factories without Apples authorisation. Too many factories produce these adapters in China, a wide difference between these adapters. Generally speaking, 2 kinds, Grade A and Grade B.
Factories in China like calling their replacement as OEM, its not right. I will not discuss Grade B, quality is a big problem in my opinion.

Oh, ok.
How about designing a new packaging for tea bags, something that's unique and makes it easy to pull out a single bag without opening a box. While not necessary, I think it'd be cool to see a new design for that.
Again, thoroughly random here.

I liked it quite a bit - it would be nice, too, if Apple could figure out a way to show off its operating system (although that would be nearly impossible to do in 30 seconds!)

Would it be possible to use a cookie to remember my choice of ordering my song list? i.e. if I choose to order by Genre, then the next time I view my list, it should remember to order the songs by Genre, and not the default Ranking.
Thanks.
Thanks.

so on the index page of this site I made I had a form that says "add me for automatic updates"..and has a form where the person inputs their email address....right now it send me an email that has their email address and I manually add them to a group in my Mail.app for when I send out the updates periodically. What I would prefer is for this to be done automatically. When they input their email address it is automatically added so some kind of database with the others....then when I send the update it just send to all of those....anyone know how to set this up? or a site that can explain it? thanks

Not really. It has the same constraints as uploading a photo directly to MR. Size limit is 1.14MB at 600px by 600px. You could create a custom Export setting in A3 to match these requirements, but you would still need to Export them to a folder on your computer and pull them to your Album from there. Not automatic, but a workaround.

This forum.
Because you need to scroll all the way down just to see it.
IMO, really annoying and makes people go out of their way to get here.

Hi,
Yeah, the credit is the points - in this case 481 points.
However, these WU (and all the other SMP core_A3 and core_A5 ones) also qualify for Quick Return Bonus Points.
Basically, there is a sliding scale that rewards quick return with more points. This is done to encourage people to just run one client quickly, rather than multiple ones more slowly.
However, to qualify for these bonus points (that are often worth 10 times the base points), you'll need a passkey - see here:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1073565
You can calculate how many points you expect to receive here:
http://linuxforge.net/bonuscalc2.php
Hope that helps
