for a moment I thought they were going to sell spymac bags, hats sunnies and cuff links! But I guess not. Then I thought maybe they'd made a movie, but no.
Then it almost looked like they would show us some new web features... 'fraid not.
I've been sitting here trying to work out what to infer from this trailer... could it be that only knobs use spymac? but a lot of knobs.

Hey Arn, have another question.
I have cookies enabled both at work and at home, and today. after already posted couple of times I needed to log back in. I thought that that freaking peecee was well... freaking.
But when I got home my trusted mac also requested to log in again.
Why was that? Did you reset something? Cleared out a couple non-active-users or so?

I am looking for a thin yet robust rubberish/silicon skin for my latest iPod touch 4G. It should have a single black or dark gray color and not not have any pimples or ripples.
Simply put: as unobstrusive and robust as possible.
Also the iPod touch still needs to fit into the apple universal dock.
Wich skin would you suggest?

The only applications that might use this are military applications. Which are most likely classified applications. But in short, no, a normal application wouldn't use it. ;)
In my line of work there are a *lot* of Apps that will happily gobble that CPU power, memory, or both. NAMD (http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/namd/) will eat the CPU and ask for more, as will portions of Amber (http://ambermd.org/). NWChem (http://www.nwchem-sw.org/index.php/Main_Page) is another hog there, etc.
(Of course I don't *usually* run these local, the system I just ran a NAMD job on is a "small" cluster of 2u dell boxes with 4-way 12 core AMDs and 2GB/core for 48 core/96GB Mem per machine, 14 nodes total, but I do run them local for testing and small jobs...)

Using one main computer has it's benefits, everything is in one place, no juggling files or file syncing software. It's easy to stay focused working from one desktop.
But, if you have mobility in mind you'd need the computer to be a notebook and work with a limited screen size or add an external display .... but then there's the plugging/unplugging all day, files need to be kept in sync...

Because you want to integrate Flash and PDF, I would say that Adobe Encore is your tool of choice. Apple's DVD studio pro is also popular, but Encore supports embedded computer data, flash, etc.

Its good switching isn't it! I switched in March this year, and I would never look back. The iBooks are lovely, I'm hoping one day I get a job where I can have a laptop of my own- then I'd ask for an iBook! Its weird how it makes you look back on PCs in such a "why didn't I switch before?!" way. :)

I think that legreve gave you some really solid advice. You editing is really good, way better than mine was when I was 15. Just concentrate on slowing down your zooms/pans and keeping the camera steady when you have to film.

If it's not a Dreamweaver template (which I'm 99% sure it is) then it is simply a Macromedia.com rip-off (in terms of design).

Yes, you are right, it is a dreamweaver template. I'm working right now on a new layout but I wanted to get the site up and running again so I took the quick and easy route in the meantime. Either way, I think macromedia's design is a great starter.

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. Anyway, yea hard to ship something when UPS store is closed for labor day weekend haha. I was at a wedding in Salt Lake until Friday, I made that clear to those interested in buying it. It's being shipped two day air on Tuesday everyone, so stop wigging out, I've sold many things on here and never cheated anyone. And thank you w8ing.
