What she mean by previous display port version? Does her explanation mean that certain devices do not have to have Thunderbolt ports only mini display ports to plug ihnto the thunderbolt port?

Can you actually do me a favor? On your computer, locate this file:
/library/logs/console/501/console.log
This is a file into which log information is written by the system continuously whenever it is on and you are logged in. Can you put it to sleep, and then wake it in the manner which causes your kb to not work? Then look at this file. What we're interested in is whatever is entered in the log immediately during sleep onset and then waking and up to the time that your kb starts working again... it might help explain this. If you can get that part and post it here, it might help.
Otherwise, you might also try standard things such as repairing permissions, and so on, but I'm not sure if they will help or not. :( It could be that a botched permission on a kernel extension or something else needed to activate the KB again is causing the delay.

I see where this si coming from though.
I think whats happening is Apple is expanding so quickly that its harder for them to keynote all the developments within apple.
Soon iPhone is going to be even bigger, and Mac will keep moving, growing, but not as fast as the iPhone.
Maybe one day well see seperate keynotes for each product/market line.
Either way Apple is going strong and the potential for iPhone (and Apple gadgets) and Mac OS X to move forward are huge.
No complaints here.

depends on what OS you are on now I guess.
i just upgraded my ipod touch and also had to restore a couple of times. apparently if you restore from a backup, it causes problems with the new jailbreak... can anyone confirm that? i ended up having to set up as a new (so i lost all settings and game saves) to get some jailbroken apps to work.
I'm running 4.2.1 now. What new features does 4.3.1 have over 4.2.1? I wasn't able to find anything really substantial.

Also that is one sure way to fry your Mac. Power surge can happen at any time.. Do you really trust those $100 surge boards for 24/7 use or do you have UPS.
Also think of how much dust gets in there...
Not smart to leave your computer on 24/7.

In Lion, many found out that the first option (which you could select Blue or Graphite in SL) is greyed out.
If you want to know why it's greyed out, just hover your cursor over the menu. A tooltip will appear with all the necessary information...
* The world is very big and it's much likely someone else found out before me. But in weeks, I noticed no-one mentioned it. Even the video at the front page today doesn't mention it why. So... here it is..
** I'm writing this from my SL partition (Lion partition on external disk, and not here at the moment), so I don't know exactly what the tooltip exactly. If someone wants to post a screenshot of the tooltip, please? Thanks.

Does anyone get sound from the ipod (any gen) and from headphones when pulled in? I thought maybe it was a setting to have both at once. There is no decrease in sound on either device and it is the same when using an aux cable thru a sound system. It is not actually a problem it is just annoying!!

I only had a few minutes this morning to look at this but I believe the main problem is your not calling the "mail" command. You have this line but it's not doing anything as it's just a variable...
$success = mail($webMaster, $emailSubject, $body, $headers);
If you just use this it should work...
mail($webMaster, $emailSubject, $body, $headers);
You may have other things to work out but this should send the email massage and you should be able to retrieve it at info@avenue19ni.com.

Hi Everyone:
I've come back to the mac world. I've been away ever since my apple G3 was stolen. Now, I bought an apple I3 IMac 27". Hummm, I still miss my G3. Anyways, let's get to the problem.
In these threads, everyone is having problems with their IMac's not sleeping in Windows 7. Well not me. For me, my IMac is not sleeping in OS X [10.6.7]. I thought there was a hardware issue. Just to make sure it was not, I erased the hard drive and reinstalled the OS. Then, it was fine for awhile until I started installing software. The last thing I installed was skype in OS. And now it does not go to sleep in OS. Why doesn't my IMac fall asleep on its own in OS X? Could it be boot camp? Or, could it be skype? And yes, I reset the PRAM and followed the directions on the apple web-site and I even called apple care but, to no avail. I should have bought a Windows machine!
Just kidding....
Can someone help me please? If it's a skype issue then, I understand. But, why on earth would skype prevent my IMac from sleeping even when it is closed. It just doesn't make any sense for the programmers to have skype conflict with OSX 10.6.7; they would have resolved these types of conflicts by now.
